Password change:

If you you own a ZHAW device and change the password online, the password is not automatically changed on the ZHAW device.

The security questions were submitted when the account was created.

If no security questions have been submitted, resetting the password is only possible via the Servicedesk.

A valid edu-ID is already linked to the account.

Password change on a ZHAW device:

Make sure you're connected to the ZHAW WLAN or to the ZHAW network at home via VPN!

1. Press "CTRL-ALT-DEL".
2. Select "change password".
3. Change your password.

After the change, this password is automatically synchronised. It may take a few minutes until the new password is valid for use everywhere.
